Mehram - Episode 22

Considering I just got done with a very disappointing Mein Bushra finale, I wasn't really looking forward to starting Mehram. But my my my...this episode, right off the bat, just started out on the left foot, making me a very happy camper...

So Hamza decided to commit suicide, since that's obviously way easier than picking one wife and divorcing the other.

Maya decides she doesn't want to be consoled by the dosari biwi. Koi becharay Rashid ko tu pooch he nahi raha...

Ok - earth to drama writers: no one is wheeled directly into the ICU. Seriously. They aren't performing any surgeries or trauma interventions on that unit (well, not normally). Why is it so difficult for Hamza to be wheeled into an Emergency Room?

LOL. I mean dramoon mein tu thora good looking dikha deea karo. 

this has to be the worst police  trio in the history of pakistani dramas....lol.

Now even really incompetent police wouldv'e been a little suspicious about this rapidly changing statement,,,but these three are like, cool Rashid bhai, whatever you say.

udher Humza is losing blood by the bucketload and these three can't quit arguing.

someone just sign the damn papers already so the doctors can save that useless waste of space Humza.

Hospital hei ya chirya ghar? Khala ji is on a complete rampage against Maya. And if she says Hamza bin maa baap ka bacha hei, ussei chordh kar aagee ONE more time, so help me god, I will reach into the screen and slap her.

Apparently, these folks thought this was a good chance to make a few extra bucks by busting out into a Rose Petal commercial at the hospital. Haan haan, apna he ghar samjheeaye...
Why is mummy ji looking so pleased with herself? your damaad is in hospital...the thought of having to divorce Iqra and spend a lifetime with only your daughter drove him to suicide...but you just enjoy your sandwiches.

Wait - you're telling me, Rashid had enough time to concoct this choor wali kahani and teach it to a just-waking-up-from-general-anesthesia Hamza? And Hamza memorized the story within moments? #SMH #PakistaniDramaLogic
The police walay were the highlight of this episode for me. Even though they appear incompetent but inspector sahab manages to hit the nail on the head.

Maya's mom decided she needed to change clothes before she made sure no one ganged up against Maya.

Dramay check karo inkay...abhi tu Hamza ke marnei ki duaain kar rahi theen....?

Rashid can't stand all these wimmens stressing Hamza out again...

Konsie medical university se padh kur aye hain doctor sahab? 

He has a gun shot wound to the chest not high cholesterol

Really? It's his chest? I thought he only managed to knick his shoulder...

Doctor tells Maya to take care of Humza cos he's under a lot of stress. 

where's the police when you need em??? There's your confession now arrest one of them. Please

 daddy ji...sigh. Maya's mom tries to damage control by telling Humza not to stress his suicidial brain thinking about bills and job etc...

I think the director missed several cues in this episode to play that ost...Exhibit A:

... from back when one of us has a problem and the other one is coming up with suggestions on how to deal and the one with the problem is just like..."umm no." 

Now our friendship's evolved to the point where one us has a problem and the other one's like..."lol...i See your problem and Raise you two issues of my own" Stop freaking our readers out lol.

Yaar Bohat he ajeeb bunda hei yeh. When he has Maya, he calls for Iqra. When he has Iqra, he calls for Maya. 
Well I suppose bathroom duty comes under non-platonic wife category

Ummm - are you related to this guy? Who is he and why would he know who Maya is and where she went??

well now im confused once again...does Iqra love Humza or not??? Is she willing to be his "let me take you to the bathroom" wife. Or does she want to stay the "occasionally i'll let you sleep in my lap|" wife. I can see why Maya's head is such a twisted confused mess.
