I think Cathy's character has shown an interesting turn - I don't know if she's trying to save the marriage itself or it's the idea that Bhatti is leaving her for the other woman that she can't deal with. Either way, after so many years of being married to Bhatti, even treating him like crap, it feels appropriate for her to be taking this wake up call to realize that she is about to lose a good man.

Awkward dinner party of the year is taking place at Michelle's apartment. If I could skip Jamshed's scenes, I would. His sickly smug bakwas makes my skin crawl. Of course, people tell me that's a sign of a good artist - his ability to make you love or hate his character. But still...I wonder if I'll ever be able to watch Adeel Hussain in a drama without making him Jamshed.
let's get this crazy party started...wolverine in da house...cooking food for his bae and the guy he wishes were dead.

Michelle steps out to make tea and then these two start again...

Jamshed pulls a fast one on Rizwan...and amazingly enough he even fearlessly brings up immigration. I mean, EARTH TO MICHELLE!!!
hehehe yeah Jamshed completely railroaded Rizwan. he never even saw what hit him...

Things don't seem to get any better after Salma's rezendevous with Bhati Sahab,

1 - It's awesome how they always manage to find empty restaurants in dramas.

2 - It's amazing how Michelle doesn't pick up on Rizwan's sarcasm. Less amazing, more miraculous. Cos he's dripping with it.

 It;s not just the bahu but also the beta from hell and the other beta too concerned about his own love life and the nawasa completely absorbed with his immigration scam. poor nani.

So the mobsters finally find Sikander and rough him up a bit

I'm glad the writers didn't decide to make this easy for any of the characters. In any other drama, Sikandar would've been hit by the car and died, paving the way for Salma and Bhatti to unite. Michelle wouldve overheard Jamshed bragging to Rizwan and sent him packing. But real life isn't that easy. Bad things happen to good people - like Rizwan knowing his bff is being trapped but unable to do anything about it. I'm looking forward to how these characters untangle their stories.

So am I
