I feel like I suffered through a whole week of bad episodes. Nothing was amusing this week. Garr Maan Reh Jaaye, Kiss Se Kahoon, Zid. In fact, I was so bored, I even watched all the episodes of Sadqay Tumharay *GASP*. By the time Thursday rolled around, I was actually quite excited, because I thought the week might start to look up...
(But you have to admit, a Benedict Cumberbatch meme kind of makes you feel better...)

So, on planet Mehram, Maya knows the truth and it's repercussions galore. Everyone, and i mean EVERYONE, is trying to get Maya and Hamza back together again. Except rishtay wali khala, who has split personality issues, so she veers from 'No Iqra, he's yours!' to 'Just share the dude!' But no one is listening to her anyway, so all she ends up doing is creating unnecessary noise pollution.
On to the episode...
Over night, Aunty has turned from bitter-whining mom, to ultimatum-giving-scheming mom. "Maya sirf is shart par aaye gi ke tum Iqra ko talaaq do!" #Yawza
Hamza - tum aur tumhari lameness.
One minute Hamza agrees to come to dinner - the next he's sipping apne doosth ke haath ki coffee on the chath. #NoConsistency
Beti ghar chordh kar ja rahi hei - these two are more worried about playing the blame game. I thought her dad was pretty rational. Unfortunately, I guess that was just a ruse for 2 episodes cos who IS this guy?
Iqra Wants khala to go with her to Maya's house and convince her to go back to Hamza...after a little resistance Khala agrees to go...
Every moment is a teaching moment in Pakistani Dramas
Nope. This line doesn't even make sense in English. (Remember - writer on crack when he wrote this script. That's my argument, and I'm sticking to it.)
Itni mehnat kurke yeh kapde pehne khala??? why'd you even bother?
Khala who doesn't know her mind - first she tries to convince Maya that there is nothing between Iqra and Hamza. Then she changes tactics and declares that it's no big deal for a man to keep two wives, hansi khushi, in the same house.
But Maya - my wonderful ghonsla-haired warrior princess - does not agree. Not. One. Bit.
BACHA?!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? KOUNSA BACHA? KAHAAN KA BACHA?
As you can see - a simple google search proves that a picture of Hamza is nowhere near the results found if one were to search for a child.
Iqra and Maya can go to hell arguing over who takes Humza...Khala's had enough and is ready to stake her claim
Hey - I know it freaks you out that he puts his head in my lap - but, it get's better....when he's sick, I lay my bed outside his room and camp out on his doorstep. Cos, we are platonic and stuff.
Meanwhile - Hamza is playing with a gun. So, while I was thinking beemar = bukhaar or something, apparently beemar = mentally disturbed. Which, come to think of it, makes more sense. If this drama is all about exposing how depression is a real condition and how people suffer from depression, then things are falling into place. Cos Hamza needs professional help - no Rashid or Khala is going to be able to fix this one.
Yeaahhh...i dont think the writers were going for anything that deep..."depression is a real condition" rofl...come on Shamsi...we've watched enough dramas to know this by now.
kya technique hai dude...best way to convince a suicidal guy not to kill himself...threaten to shoot him.
Hamza finds Rashid ka tohfa on his dresser
Yeah he is...
Hamza ignores Rashid's "advice" and doesn't just kill himself there and then. If only he had...life wouldve been easier for everyone around.
Hamza decides he should live a little longer so his two wives can mentally torture him a bit more
Maya zeroes in on who the real mastermind behind all this hodgepodge of rishtas...Khala!!
Maya walks out with Iqra in hot pursuit...does no one actually care about bin maa baap ka humza???
Humza realises he's about to lose both platonic and non platonic wife and poor guy can't take the stress...
Humza Shoots himself...and rashid thinks the best way to treat him is to rub his hands...Rashid beta usko goli lugi hai heartattack nahi huwa...someone call the frikkin ambulance.
Dont worry Iqra...Humza is the hero and you're not getting rid of this psycho so easily. Next episode coming up shortly.
