Zid - Episode 15

I was quite taken back by how many views the Zid post had received. I'm not sure if all that love is for me and my keen sense of review-ism (*ahem ahem*) OR if everyone is enjoying my misery at reviewing such a miserable drama (for reals). Either way, I figured, I'd do more posts. Plus, out of all the dramas I'm watching, Alvida and Zid are the only ones that really provide such an unbeatable opportunity to create bubbles and memes. The other drams I'm watching, are all mostly recommended, and  sadly lacking in crazy. But...coming to Zid...

SO - we should all remember, this absolutely awkward scene where Omar slips a ring on Saman's finger. Saman responds with more blank stares and eye avoidance...
Saman's absolute disinterest, and frankly borderline aversion to Omar's ring, goes right over Omar's head. So now I'm confused, is Saman at fault for repeatedly dissing the perfect husband? Or is Omar at fault for not getting a clue? Who am I supposed to side with here?

Saman's only friend in the whole world is Zee. Wow. That's gotta suck.

This pretty much sums up this whole drama. All 15 episodes so far.

This pretty much sums up my question for Saman - what exactly is she accomplishing by leaving Omar and staying with Zee? Did I just make this point 3 times already in this post? I apologize. But really, we are going around in endless circles here. Is ko Zid nahi, Dhitai kehtay hein.

Uh-oh. Speaking of endless circles - Here is Circle #2: Dad still isn't onboard with the whole Rukhi marrying David thing. On the upside, he is throwing her a wedding...

In Zee-land, she hasn't paid rent, as usual. This actress (who will probably be in some drama soon playing someones little sister, nand, or bff) is her landlord who is gonna kick her out. She looks like she should be in Middle school...

Saman comes right on time to witness the debacle. And Zee gets straight to her point: Paisay de do.

Ok. Really Daady-o...
Anyone else with me here? Why is Rukhi's dad being so strange? I didn't want to have to go there....but since the very second he agreed to the whole wedding thing, I've had nightmares of him drugging Rukhi and marrying her off to someone else. Or killing her and burying her body in his backyard. Both give me the heebie-jeebies...but I mean, come on - this whole situation is so weird.

Hey! Look what the cat dragged in! Zee wants Omar to house her since she got kicked out. That's not the surprising bit. The surprising bit is peechay Saman ka mood itna off kion hei? Tell tell...

"Mera ghar"? Ex-cuuuuse me?! You divorced him, remember?

Qasim uncle rants and raves and poor Omar looks at him like he should call the police because Qasim uncle seems to be loosing his mind...

Really? Need I sum up or add anything to spoil this perfectly fitting ending gif?

  4. Hi guys! Another great review. Lol at Character Deela Hai. Ahsan Khan really looks like he's not even trying to act. Being the side character that he is the acting just mellows it out even more.

    2. too bad i can't post gif's in comments because i would repost the minions laughing gif "AhsenKhan is Wasted in this drama" :'D
that guy get's paid to just stand around and deliver dialogues in the most dull way possible, They could replace him with a cardboard cut out of him and no one would notice.

    3. Have you guys seen Mere Qatil Mere Dildar? His acting in that was actually bearable. Even then I think Mewhish Hayat and Adnan Siddiqui had a bigger part in moving that drama forward.

    4. Mehwish Hayat and Adnan siddiqui made that drama. I loved Mehwish hayat in mere qatil mere dildar. Uptil she was married to ahsen the drama was bleh, then they get divorced and nature Adnan Siddiqui and the drama just went through the roof in awesomeness.
