Dayar-e-dil episodes 1, 2 and 3

I've been wanting to watch this drama since I first heard the beautiful ost.

Zeb's voice is as always beautiful and soulful, although why they didn't get her to sing the Farsi poetry as well is beyond me. Her Persian pronunciation is perfect and I think she would've sung it better than the guy.
After listening to the song I made the mistake of watching all the promos, which pretty much gave away the whole story. Which is why it took me this long to start watching it.
Three reasons why I am watching Dayar e dil...OK four... No wait five... Five reasons I'm watching this drama
1. The breathtaking location of Gilgit-Baltistan and gorgeous Khaplu palace

2. The background music, I could listen to it forever.
3. Mikaal
4. Sanam Saeed
5. Ali Rehman
Reasons I might stop watching half way through
1. Sohaib's accent (thankfully by episode three the accent has disappeared)
2. Arjumand (played by Hareem Farooq)
3. Maya Ali
4. Osman Khalid Butt

Does Maya Ali have some secret contract with hum TV which keeps her permanently on our TV screens on Tuesday nights? First Shanakht, then Zid and now Dayar-e-Dil.
As for OKB, I don't understand this obsession with casting him in serious roles. This guys face and mannerisms scream to be cast in romantic comedies, but no such luck. I get that Fawad khan isn't working in Pakistani dramas anymore, Imran Abbas is already on two stands and this would've been an overload on us. The only other two decent actors are already cast as behroz and zohaib. Surely there is some one else out there who could've done this role?
In episode one we find out that Behroz is engaged to Arjumand since childhood, but he is in love with Rohina, his class fellow. Agha Jan (welcome back Abid Ali) fixes behroz's nikah date, but Behroz refuses. Zohaib tries to convince Behroz to forget Rohina and fulfill the promise Agha Jan had made to his brother.
and some other stuff too such as...

Agha Jaan's fatal flaw

This long and boring drive from Islamabad to gilgit with and equally boring conversation between Sohaib Bakhtyar Khan and Deepika look alike

this sweet (but awkward in retrospect) encounter between Sohaib and Arjumand
this Post dinner Kehwa party during which Agha jaan drops not so subtle hints about getting Little sohaib engaged to Deepika lookalike. Then dropping the bomb on bechara Behroz Bakhtiyar Khan's little rich boy heart.

This ankhon ankhon main batein between Brother's

Rohina declaring her intentions to her brother
I've head of age gaps between siblings but Behtroz Sabzwari playing Sanam Saeed's older brother???
this one, giving bhabis all over the world a bad name

Behroz manning up and telling Agha jan what he wants
Agha jaan's cure for raging hormones..._

In episode 2

Behroz tells Chacha about his marriage plans

Behroz tries to use religion to justify breaking his engagement with Arjumand, which results in Agha Jaan slapping him and kicking him out of the Haveli.

Agha Jaan fixing Sohaib's marriage with Arjumand

yeah Behroz isnt coming back

Jumma Jumma 8 din ki mohabbat getting nipped in the bud. Bye bye deepika

Arjumand having an emo moment with her mom

Episode 3

Arjumand tries to jagao-fy Sohaib's ghairat

Agha Jaan puts a stop to Arjumand's wailing

Agha jaan tells the wimmens to make Arjumand the most beautiful bride ever... They turn her into this...
she barely manages to get nikahofied and then promptly faints. Must be the new go to reaction for forced marriages. "If your daddy forced you to marry the wrong cousin, just faint!"

After waiting for a very lomg time for Behroz to "realise his mistake and come back to Marry arjumand," Sohaib and Arjumand finally get Nikah-o-fied

Behram Khan makes the most slapworthy statement of the episode.

Deepika and Daddy leave the Haveli. me :"(
i didnt think i would cry when deepika leaves, but the scene between her and zohaib is just too sweet. All i wanted to do was hug zohaib.

Meanwhile
Rohina takes a stand for Behroz

Rohi and Behroz get married.

Bhai Jaan becomes rivayati villain and breaks off all relations with Rohi

and then cuteness ensues...
I went through a complete roller coaster of emotions with episode 3. One minute i was bawling my eyes out because deepika was leaving and my bechara Sohaib was stuck with the overly emo arjumand.
Next minute i was squealing with joy at the lovey doveyness that was going on in Behroz's life.

As you can tell, I'm quite far behind with this drama, so please don't drop any spoilers in the comments. I want to be disappointed with this drama in my own sweet time.
