Dil Ka Kya Rung Karun - Episode 1

As promised, I started watching Dil Ka Kya Rung Karun cos Sana Javed is just so cute and you can't get enough of her playing the injured party - wether it's the  mazloom roothi-dhooti lardki (Paiwand) or the kismat ki mari (Goya). However, since this drama has already concluded, and I'm going to try to get through it as quick as possible, I've decided to do the reviews a little differently.

So here we go...

10 reasons to watch episode 1 of Dil Ka Kya Rung Karun

Reason 1: THIS guy, lovingly known as the 'cardboard pilot' from Aasmanoo Pe Likha. If you can't figure out what that means, you'll have to spam N with requests to do a throwback review of that super hit Geo drama that (supposedly) broke all records of viewership in Pakistan. #Skeptical

Reason 2: The dulhan that is sneaking out on a date in her obtan ka gharara. Sure sweetheart, go ahead. It's not like anyone will notice your vomit-yellow gharara. #PakistaniDramaLogic - brides running around the Karachi streets and no one blinks an eye. #NaKatroPankhMeray #ChupkeSeBaharAajaaye #DoQadamDurThay

Reason 3: Noor Hassan's second attempt to give us a glimpse of him baring all on national TV.

Reason 4: The look on everyone's face when dulha-dulhan are busted on their date.

Reason 5: Chichora-pan getting stopped in its tracks when this loser gets caught checking out a girl/skank by his girlfriend. #Sleezebag

Reason 6: Sana Javed decides to teach us how to wear 50 shades of brown. At the same time.

Reason 7: An impromptu nikah forces the two samdhans to wear mehndi outfits on the nikah...

Reason 8: Cardboard pilot gives the fake-est laugh ever in response to suggestive jokes by Mr. Horrible Acting While Wearing White Pants.

Reason 9: Sana Javed goes au natural and we learn that her always-perfect hair is just as kinky and wavy as our own. May the lord bless the inventor of the straightening iron!

Reason 10: Touching flashbacks and some great portrayals of mourning by the characters that will tug on your heart strings.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am happy to report episode 1 was well-paced and we are off to a good start. By all means, bring on episode 2!
